Springdale Sees Trail Improvements

FOX24

SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KFTA) — Community members in Springdale have a new trail that’s particularly useful for students.

The school district was awarded almost $40,000 from the Blue and You Foundation to remove the old trail and rebuild a new one that connects the JB Hunt Elementary School to the Razorback Greenway.

Mary Miller with Springdale Public Schools said it’s important the trail is accessible to everyone.

“When we share use of community-owned property, we’re just promoting a healthier lifestyle for everyone,” Miller said.

People are free to use the trail when school is not in session.

There are also exercise stations placed on the trail’s outskirts.
