State Supreme Court to Hear Medical Marijuana Arguments

FOX24

(KARK) — The Arkansas Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments next month on a judge’s decision to block the state from issuing licenses to grow marijuana.

Pulaski County Circuit Judge Wendell Griffen in March blocked the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission from awarding permits to the five cultivation faculties that were given the top scores by the commission.

Griffen stated the commission used a flawed method.

That hearing is set for June 7.
