Strip Club Shooting Suspect Sentenced

A Springdale man has been sentenced to five years in prison for a shooting at a Fayetteville strip club last year.

Carlos Gomez-Aguilar pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, battery and criminal mischief, according to Washington County Circuit Court documents.

The shooting occurred in January 2018 at Silver Dollar Cabaret, 2125 N. College Ave. Gomez was one of three people arrested.

No one was seriously injured in the shooting incident.
