The Tony-nominated musical, “Waitress,” will be premiering at Walton Arts Center on April 9-14 and is looking for two young girls to perform the role of Lulu for the duration of the production.
The character of Lulu is a sweet, carefree four to five-year-old who appears in the productions’ finale scene.
Qualified girls should be no shorter than 4’2″ and be no older than five years and three months. Individual applicants are welcome, as are sets of twins or siblings. Audition space is limited to the first 40 applicants to sign up.
The search for Lulu will take place at Walton Arts Center on March 1 from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Auditions will last approximately two hours and will be held in Starr Theater.
The audition will consist of the child reading two lines from the show. If possible, parents should bring a current headshot and resume for each child. Headshot, resume and prior acting experience is not required.
The character of Lulu is being cast locally in each market. Each girl chosen will perform in four performances during the one week.
