The force is strong with a brand new pair of Utah twins. Rowan Luke and Kai Leia were born to proud parents Kendall and Ross Robbins on Friday, May 4. That’s right their middle names are Luke and Leia. Even better the couple chose to induce labor on may the fourth also known as star wars day.
One man is now the proud owner of a tasty new world record. Meet Don Gorske, who now holds the world record for “most Big Macs consumed”! How many Big Macs you might ask? Over the weekend, he chomped down his 30,000 big mac. His love for Big Macs started more than 40 years ago when he ate his first one on may 17, 1972. He has enjoyed an average of two sandwiches nearly every day since that magical day. There have only been eight days that have not included a Big Mac with the most recent being November 23, 2011. That day happened to be Thanksgiving and the restaurant was closed. He said he thought he had a big mac saved in the freezer but was mistaken.
Police officers in Florida know how to let loose and have fun! This was at John I. Leonard high school’s prom Saturday. Some Boynton beach police officers escorted a group of students to the dance. They even prepared boutonnieres and corsages for them. The officers said on twitter that it meant the world to share the night with the students.
One man decided he didn’t agree with being arrested and attempted to make a run for it. Officials say 35-year-old Christopher Clay Rudd was making an appearance for violating the terms of a court-mandated drug treatment program. A man in Utah jumped off a second-floor courthouse balcony after running from a courtroom Wednesday. He then jumped over a railing and crashed to the floor near the entrance, where officers were waiting. Authorities say it’s not clear if he was attempting to escape or trying to hurt himself.
