A new group at a Pennsylvania High School wants everyone to know it is there to help struggling students. Members got the word out by attaching positive notes to every students’ locker, all 1200 of them. Four 11th graders are responsible for the notes. Hand writing each one for all students in the school. The notes are their first task as part of a new club at school called “Aevidum”, which means “I’ve got your back.”
At colleges across the nation it’s finals week. And two students at the University of Kentucky tried to take a shortcut to an “A”. Around 2 a.m., one of the students waited inside the science building, while the other allegedly crawled through the ceiling to an instructors office. The only problem, the instructor was working late and caught them in the act. The students were charged with third degree burglary, a felony. The students admitted to stealing a test the same way earlier in the semester.
Canadian health authorities have launched a nationwide recall of Bombay Sapphire Gin. That’s because some bottles may contain nearly double the advertised amount of alcohol. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the bottles contain 77% alcohol by volume rather than the typical 40%. 6,000 Bombay Sapphire bottles may be affected. The bottles were sold only in Canada.
Kim Kardashian West is expanding her empire with a new beauty-based reality show. The reality star announced on Instagram Wednesday that she’ll be executive producer of a new Lifetime network show called “Glam Masters”. It will feature contestants competing for the title of “Beauty Director for Kardashian apps”. Contestants can now apply on Lifetime’s website. The show will begin production this summer.
