Two Local Salvation Army Officers Deploy to East Coast for Disaster Relief

Two Salvation Army officers are being deployed to help with Hurricane Matthew disaster relief.

Captain John Robbins with the Springdale Corps Officer deployed on Friday to the Incident Command Center in Brunswick, GA. He will serve as the Safety Officer for the Salvation Army operations on the Georgia coast line.

Lt. Nic Arroqui with the Fayetteville Corps Officer deployed on Thursday to the Florida Emergency Disaster Team in Tampa.

The Arkansas-Oklahoma Division is also deploying officers from Conway, Mountain Home, Enid, OK., Muskogee, OK., Oklahoma City and Stillwater, Ok.

The Salvation Army Florida Division will serve around 100,000 meals by Saturday.
