SPRINGDALE, Ark. — Tyson Foods has settled a legal battle with the Environmental Protection Agency over water pollution issues in Missouri.
The Springdale-based food processing giant will pay $2.5 million in fines and restitutions.
The lawsuit was filed after Tyson killed around 100,000 fish in a Missouri creek. The company also admitted to two violations of the Clean Water Act.
