UPDATE: One Person Killed in Car Crash in Which Four People Were Trapped


UPDATE: A Rogers Police Department officer confirmed that one person was killed in the vehicle crash that caused four people to become trapped in a vehicle.

The two-car crash happened Wednesday evening in the area of South 8th Street and West Price Lane.

Police say the driver of one of the cars left the scene. He was located shortly after and was arrested.

Rogers Fire Department officials used the jaws of life to free those who were trapped.

No further information has been provided on the person who died.


The Rogers Fire Department is on the scene of a car accident at South 8th Street and West Price Lane in Rogers, according to their Twitter account.

Four people have been removed from one vehicle, using ‘jaws of life,’ according to Fire Chief Tom Jenkins, and an additional ambulance was requested.

The accident happened shortly after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16., according to Rogers’ fire.
