FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — A Springdale woman facing charges in connection to a man’s death after a home invasion has pleaded guilty.

Kaili Cogdill, 21, and 21-year-old Jalen Tims attempted to break into a man’s house in the 4500 block of Greens Drive in Springdale last May.

That’s when the man shot and killed Tims when they tried to run away.

Cogdill was convicted of manslaughter, accomplice to burglary and several other charges Tuesday.

She was sentenced to 20 years in prison with five years suspended.

The man who shot Tims will not face any charges.
