SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KFTA) — A group of Springdale students will have their work featured on the Arkansas Educational Television Network.

Films created by high school students across Arkansas will be on display during this year’s “Student Selects, A Young Filmmakers Showcase.”

One Springdale student said it’s a great way to bring different cultures and views from across the state together on one screen.

“I think it’s really important that they’re playing our videos, not only because it’s a great way to showcase student work in the Springdale District Schools and any other district schools surrounding us, but it’s really nice to see what students are creating and how students are impacting themselves in their own district,” said Diego Escobar, Springdale television graduate.
The segments will be featured on AETN at 6:30 p.m. every Friday throughout September.
