$1M Bond for Man Accused of Killing Fiancée’s Toddler Daughter

News

Bond is $1,000,000 for a man who is under arrest in connection with the 2018 death of his fiancée’s two-year-old daughter, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Jordan Shreeve is jailed in Crawford County as of Friday, February 15, according to the report, and is expected to be formally charged in the near future.

Shreeve was arrested Friday in Van Buren on first-degree murder, according to a Van Buren Police Department (VBPD) news release.

According to the affidavit, on November 8, 2018, VBPD responded to a call about an unresponsive child at the 2200 block of Granite Circle in Van Buren. The child was later declared deceased and an autopsy was done.

The Arkansas State Crime Lab ruled the child’s death a homicide.

During the course of the investigation, Shreeve became a suspect because of his behavior and actions on the day of the homicide, according to the affidavit.

Van Buren police also state that after the child’s death, Shreeve relocated to Michigan for a few months.
