60 Individuals Arrested in Drug Task Force Operation

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA) - Several law enforcement agencies worked together to execute several arrest warrants, parole searches, and probable cause arrests which led to the arrest of 60 people and seizure of several drugs. 

The 12th/21st District Drug Task Force along with DEA, Arkansas State Police, Crawford County Sheriff Office, Van Buren Police Department, Arkansas Parole and Probation Officers, Fort Smith Police Department, and Greenwood Police Department all worked together on this case. 

The agencies were able to retrieve 17 firearms, 213 grams of methamphetamine, 1 gram of heroin, 12 oxycodone pills, over 100 pounds of marijuana, 15 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and $11,645.00 in illegal cash proceeds in the Sebastian and Crawford County, according to a Facebook post from the 12th/21st District Drug Task Force.
