FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) – Thousands of men and women across the country and right here in Arkansas were crowned king and queen tonight.
A Night to Shine, put on by the Tim Tebow Foundation, honors those who usually aren’t in the spotlight.
The red carpet was rolled out, and limos were full of crowns and beautiful dresses.
A Night to Shine gives those with special needs a chance to experience prom.
For Ella Humphries, that means all the glam.
But for those like Patrick Poole, the highlight is being able take his girlfriend on a date.
Poole said he’s grateful he is finally able to experience something like A Night to Shine. And so is his girlfriend Linzey.
At the end of night, it’s all about making these kings and queens smile.
Fort Smith wasn’t the only place A Night to Shine was hosted in Arkansas. It also took place in Springdale.
