WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — UPDATE: A deadly crash took the lives of two in a Wednesday morning accident covered in fog on Highway 412 and Hickory Flat Road.

Matthew Olinger, 23 of Huntsville, and Noah Caldwell, 24 of Rogers, were both pronounced dead on the scene.

A report from the Arkansas State Police states that the car Olinger was driving was blocking the roadway so Caldwell went to check on Olinger by exiting his car. A semi-truck was driving westbound on the far right when it struck them.

The weather conditions were foggy and dry. It took first responders more than 5 hours to clear the scene according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation.

No other injuries were reported.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A multi-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer is holding up traffic on 412.

At 5:52 a.m. the accident was reported according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation. All lanes westbound are currently impacted.

There has not been an update on the incident since it was first reported.
