Air Force Musicians to Perform at Van Buren Fine Arts Center

The United States Air Force Band of Mid-America will perform at the Van Buren Fine Arts Center, 2001 E. Pointer Trail, on Saturday, February 9, at 7:00 p.m.

The USAF Band of Mid-America has a long history of entertaining the American public and promoting a feeling of pride within the military.

The unit strives to inspire the hearts and minds of the men and women serving around the world and tell the Air Force story through music, according to their website.

According to the Van Buren Fine Arts Center, during the concert, you are likely to hear works from contemporary composers as well as the familiar sounds of John Philip Sousa or Major Glenn Miller. 

The band also features vocal soloists, performing a wide variety of popular classical, and patriotic selections. 

Admission is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.
