American art loaned from Princeton comes to Crystal Bridges

A new exhibition traveling from Salem, Mass., makes a final stop in Bentonville.

The opening of Nature’s Nation: American Art and Environment takes place this weekend at Crystal Bridges.

The collection, which is more than 100 pieces on loan from the Princeton University Art Museum, represents 300 years of American art.

Curators from the university say this is the perfect extension of the already existing collection at crystal bridges.

“Looking at artists both historically and more contemporary and how they have engaged not only some of the beauty of the natural world, but also some of the challenges that we face today and that is something that the exhibition does as well,” said Karl Kusserow, curator of American Art for the Princeton University Art Museum.

Nature’s Nation will be at Crystal Bridges through September 9. Click here to buy tickets.
