Amnesty Program Helping You Clear Outstanding Warrants and Fines

If you have outstanding warrants, overdue fines, or failure to appears – here’s your chance to make amends without any penalties.

The Third Judicial Court , which serves Carroll and Madison Counties, is offering an amnesty program.

From September 1 to the 15, you can go to your county jail and be served with a warrant to be immediately released with a court date.

District Judge Dale Ramsey will then give you options to get back on track with payments.

This is an effort to help lower the growing number of cases in the county and give people a fresh start.

Ramsey estimated that the court offered a similar program several years ago, but hasn’t in his five years as judge.

Those with warrants from the district court in Berryville, Eureka Springs or Green Forest will have to report to the detention center in Berryville. Those with warrants from the Huntsville District Court will have to report to the Madison County Jail.

If you have questions about the program or eligibility for the program, call the Huntsville District Court office at 479-738-2911.

Those living in Carroll County will have to contact their respective town’s district court offices.
