The last presidential debate of the 2016 general election season is finally here.
Republican nominee Donald Trump and his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, will take the stage Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.
The debate will cover six topics; immigration, entitlements and debt, the supreme court, the economy, foreign policy and each candidate’s fitness to serve as president.
Arkansas Senator John Boozman and Representative Steve Womack both say they hope to see less mudslinging and more conversations about America’s future during the debate.
“What I’d like to do really is see candidates give their ideas as to specific things they’re going to be doing, I think that’s what people are really hungry for,” Sen. Boozman.
“The last two debates have been more about attacks against each other. I think what the American people are waiting for are the ideas,” said Rep. Womack.
Representative Womack says he’s not hopeful the candidates drop the accusations and have a healthy discussion.
