AR Senator and Georgia Senator Introduce Immigration Legislation

Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton and Georgia Senator David Perdue introduced new legislation dealing with the nation’s immigration policies.

The measure would limit the total number of green cards issued to 500,000 per year, which is lower than the current one million. The measure would also focus on people wanting to reunite with immediate family.

Sen. Cotton said the measure would not change employment-based immigration.
