Arkansans affected by pandemic can apply for federal aid

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arkansans having trouble paying rent or utilities due to the pandemic can now apply for federal aid.

The Federal Emergency Rental Assistance Program has allotted $173 million to the state.

With around 56,000 households eligible for relief.

Arkansans may receive up to 15 months of assistance to help with electric, gas and water.
