The Arkansas Air and Military Museum continued to remember the 75th anniversary of D-Day at a ceremony this afternoon.
Congressman Steve Womack was a guest speaker at the event.
Womack said the anniversary reminds him of how fragile life is and the cost of freedom.
“We should remember what people have done that have provided the freedom and security that we enjoy today, and resolve never to forget and be reminded often of those great sacrifices,” said Womack.
Earlier this week the Arkansas Air and Military Museum displayed several exhibits in remembrance of those who lost their lives.
Tables were set up throughout the museum with information on what the armed forces did that day.
