Arkansas Children’s Northwest Fills Patients With Christmas Spirit

News

One local hospital hosted a snowflake making work shop to help ease it’s patients.

Arkansas Children’s Northwest helped to spread some holiday cheer and get kids in the Christmas spirit to help take their minds off of the worries of being sick.

Those who treat the children said it’s the least they could do to bring Christmas a little early for these kiddos.

“It just takes a little stress off our families here during the holidays,” said Ashley Winzler with Arkansas Children’s Northwest. “Having a sick child is stressful enough, and we just try to help in a little extra way to take away that stress.”

While snow flakes were being made, many parents used that time to shop for gifts for their children.
