Arkansas Couple Says They Almost Went on Capsized Boat

Seventeen people are dead after a duck boat capsized at Table Rock Lake in Branson, Missouri. 

According to the Stone County Sheriff, seven people are in the hospital with severe injuries.

 The parking lot of where the duck boats load up was full of people from the community as well as tourists paying their respects to those who died. 

People piled flowers on three cars many assume belong to those who were on the boat since they were left overnight. 

One couple leaving flowers, John and Joyce Mcdaniel from Russellville. 

They said they had every intention of getting on the boat that capsized but said it’s by the grace of God thing that they decided to cancel that trip. 

“It’s a tragedy. It’s hard to talk about to see how all these people were killed. But we came, and it was our intention to go on that. But something just told us not to,” said Mcdaniel.
