Arkansas Ranked Most Dangerous State on Black Friday

It’s no surprise that Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping days of the year, but did you know that it’s also one of the most violent?

Reviews.org did a study to see what states rank as the highest at risk for black friday violence, Arkansas ranked as number one.
 
The study was based off of violence crime rates, previous Black Friday violence reports, and the interest that people showed in Black Friday sales.
 
I went to some of the biggest sales tonight to see what people have to said about their Black Friday experiences.
 
With Black Friday bargains.
 
“I’ve seen pushing and shoving,” said Black Friday shopper William Stevens.
 
Comes the black friday madness from those fighting to get the best discounted gifts of the season.
 
“People get really emotional and usually its about electronics or children’s items,” said Black Friday shopper Vickee Hanvey.
 
“Shoving, trying to get around get to electronics like we’re here right now,” said Stevens.
 
As shoppers run to stores to get the hot ticket items, some Black Friday goers say it takes away from the spirit of thanksgiving and spending time with family.
 
“Most people leave on Thursday which is Thanksgiving for Black Friday which changes everything,” said Black Friday shopper Skyley
 
“I know some people cant have family so they find other things to stay busy but I think family’s important and it should be family time,” said Hanvey.
 
“You think oh they all just care about presents than being with their family,” said Skyle.
 
Regardless of when or how early these sales start millions of people still do what they can to get the best out of this shopping extravaganza.
 
Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina and Alabama also ranked in the top five most dangerous states on Black Friday.
