Arkansas has been ranked the third worst state to retire in, according to a report from Bankrate.
West Virginia and Alaska were the second and first worst states to retire in, respectively.
Arkansas’ weakness when it comes to retirement include cultural vitality, seniors’ well-being, healthcare quality and crime. The Natural State did have some strengths, including second lowest cost of living and the tenth best weather.
On the list, New Hampshire was top ranked as the best state to retire in. Colorado, Maine, Iowa and Minnesota made up the rest of the top five.
