ROGERS, Ark. — Around 80 artists from across the country met in Rogers Oct. 7 to show off their work at the ‘Art on the Creeks’ event.
The event was free and open to the public, and featured live music, food and refreshments as well as a wealth of art.
Artists who made their way to the event said they were surprised by the growing art scene here in Northwest Arkansas. Artist Alexandra Hall said she was pleasantly surprised by the amount of support in the region.
“It really is amazing and supportive and you get a lot of national talent here which, again, I guess I didn’t know about but now I do,” Hall said.
Today marked the sixth annual Art on the Creeks event, which is held each fall in Rogers.
