Assisted Living Facility Owner Sued Over Sexually Assaulting Elderly Residents

News

An assisted living center owner is being sued over sexual assault.

Angel Floro, 71, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault against two women who lived at the Adams House in Bentonville, which Floro owns.

The lawsuit is seeking a jury trial and unspecified monetary damages.

Police on March 9, 2016, responded to Adams House regarding possible sexual abuse of female residents by a male employee.

A female resident said on March 8 that Floro entered her room and sexually touched her.

Police say on March 21 another female resident contacted detectives and said Floro committed the same sexual act on her earlier in the month.
