The Bella Vista City Council held a special meeting Thursday morning to solidify their vision for the city.
Newly-elected and established council members began by getting acquainted before making any major decisions.
The work session allowed the council to begin determining the city’s priorities and start forming a plan for the year.
Assigning projects to staff and ensuring they’re carried out effectively was the goal.
“A solid leadership is what every city needs and so we’re really working to make sure everyone is on the same page and everyone is moving in the right direction together,” said Cassi Lapp, City of Bella Vista communications manager.
The Trafalgar Road fire in the city — recently declared as an emergency by the governor — was not discussed in this special meeting today.
