BENTON COUNTY, Ark. (KFTA) — The Benton County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with the Gravette Police Department to create a community-first food pantry.

The pantry will include dry and canned foods as well as hygiene products as a part of a “Take Some, Leave Some” campaign to feed the hungry.

The pantry will be located at Thairapy Salon in Downtown Gravette.

“It’s one of these things if you need food and you are on hard times come and get what you need,” said Benton County Sheriff Shawn Holloway. “We ask the citizens of the community if you can help with this, come put some more food in it.”

Both the Sheriff’s Office and Police Department will maintain the pantry, which was made by inmates at the Benton County Detention Center.
