The Arkansas Farm Bureau named two teens as winners in the Dairy Foods Contest on June 6.

Kalin Key of El Dorado’s shrimp and grits won in the “Main Dishes” category, while Hiwasse’s Faith Fritch received the top prize in “Party Ideas” for her mini cheesecakes.

“There’s so much more to the competition than just baking the dish,” Fritch said. This was the 16-year-old’s first time competing in the state finals.

The Arkansas Farm Bureau has hosted the contest for 62 years. June is National Dairy Month.
