Bentonville High School Students Revive Local Skate Park

High school students in Bentonville gave new life to the Skate Park at Memorial Park.

Students enrolled in the Ignite Professional Studies program started painting the park Thursday.

The organization has been working for the last year to enhance the appearance of the skate park for everyone in the community to enjoy.

“We narrowed it down to our favorite ideas and we made at least 10 sketches of that and then we kept going and kept going until it turned into what you see today,” Melissa Wise, a Senior at Bentonville High School said.

Students say they are all really excited about the project.

It will take about 5 days to complete.
