News

Members of the Northwest Arkansas Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta (NWADST) Sorority hosted a storytime event to read books about black historical figures and educate the public about embracing black culture on February, 23.

Delta Sigma’s Aterra Low, said every year the event gets bigger and bigger.

“We get a chance to meet more kids and educate more people so that a big role in our organization,” Low said. “We’re big in public service, we’re big on scholarship, so it just meets part of our education thrust.”

This is the fifth year that Black History Month Storytime was held at the Bentonville Public Library.

The library is located on 405 S Main Street.
