BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — An eighth grader’s art is underscoring the importance of community infrastructure in Bentonville.
Claire Brown’s drawing of the city’s water tower behind several apartment buildings was unveiled Tuesday on the south side of the community development building.
Brown was the winner of a contest held by the City of Bentonville to celebrate community planning month.
“Art on walls is just like graffiti and stuff, so I find it cool that this place is encouraging artists to put their stuff out there,” said Claire Brown, poster contest winner.
The Fulbright Junior High School student’s art piece will be displayed on the building for a year.
