Authorities are investigating after a leg was recovered from the Arkansas River.
The leg was located near the Big Dam Bridge and Murray Park Saturday morning.
The call went out about 10:00 a.m. to Little Rock Police.
A caller told police they saw what they believed to be a leg with a shoe coming out of the water.
A swift water rescue crew from the Little Rock Fire Department responded and was able to recover the body part.
Pulaski County Sheriff’s deputies were also at the scene.
There is no word yet on the identity of the person.
