The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is set to show a screening of a documentary highlighting the nation’s strawberry industry.
The screening will be on May 2 at 7 p.m.
The documentary was filmed by Emmy Award-winning duo Larry Foley and Dale Carpenter and is narrated by Academy Award winner Ray McKinnon.
The film tracks the four-year National Strawberry Sustainability Initiative which was funded by the Walmart Foundation. The film features Arkansas-grower David Dickey and follows him through the whole process of strawberry planting.
A Q & A session will follow the screening.
