FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — The Boys & Girls Club of Fayetteville is kicking off the holiday season a little early this year.
Their 11th Annual Thanksgiving Feast happened Tuesday, and club members and their families were in attendance.
Local businesses help supply and cook the meals and public schools have a helping hand to contribute as well.
“You know, this is the week before Thanksgiving so it’s a nice ‘ah’ time for them. They’re like ‘I’ll take a little break and I’ll enjoy someone else prepping the meal for me,” said Eric Schuldt, director of the Boys & Girls Club.
Schuldt said they expected anywhere between four and five hundred community members to attend.
