While back closer to home, families are also looking for a break from the routine spring break. Leaving the technology at home and taking more cultural or educational trips.
You’ll have to be willing to pay more money if you want a mid-flight cocktail on Southwest Airlines. The airlines has ended its $5 happy hour, every hour menu. Alcoholic drinks are now one to two dollars more.. Still $1 cheaper than some major competitors. Something to keep in mind, Southwest will offer passengers one free drink on St. Patrick’s Day.
According to a new poll from lending tree, 43 percent of Americans are most concerned about “unexpected expenses.” Health care costs are the most concerning issue for 29 percent of consumers, and 18-percent are worried about the new tax changes. The good news is that about 67 percent of Americans expect their finances to improve this year.
A video posted on twitter captured a helicopter crashing into New York City’s East River Sunday night Killing at least two people. Rescue boats rushed to the scene. According to the U.S. Coast Guard, six people were on board the helicopter. There’s still no word on the cause of the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
