According to Staffing Firm Accountemps, more than 4 in 10 workers say they have admitted to crying at work. Nearly the same percentage of company executives say that shedding tears at work is acceptable as long as it doesn’t happen every day, but 32 percent of workers said crying isn’t acceptable, and 26 percent of executives said crying is never acceptable at the office.
A Texas meat company is recalling more than 7,000 pounds of beef products that were sold in nine states including Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. The meat is not known to have caused any problems, but the USDA discovered it was packed without federally mandated inspection. Most of the affected items are frozen and fresh cuts of beef marketed for use in tacos and fajitas under the brand name Texas meat packers produced on March 23 and March 24. Consumers should contact the quality assurance department at Patterson Foods.
You may want to take a quick look at your refrigerator. Stella Artois is recalling some of its beer. Officials with the Belgian beer say small pieces of glass may have fallen inside certain bottles. The recall affects Stella Artois’ six-packs, 12 packs, 18 packs and 24 packs sold in the U.S. And Canada.
