Fans picked their favorite stars last night at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles. That story tops this morning’s Breakfast Buzz.

Robert Downey Junior was named favorite action movie actor. Blake Shelton walked away with two prizes. Ellen Degeneres got her 20th career People’s Choice Award. Finally, Tyler Perry won an award for his philanthropic work.

After 32 years, Budweiser is saying bye bye to team USA. Anheuser-Busch Inbev, which owns Budweiser, has decided not to re-up its partnership with the U.S. Olympic committee. Bud has been a sponsor of the U.S. Olympic committee since 1984. The news follows disappointing viewership of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

For those who think the Big Mac is a bit too big, McDonald’s is coming out with the Mac Junior. For those who think the Big Mac isn’t quite big enough, McDonald’s is unveiling the Grand Mac. The golden arches said it’s going company-wide with the burgers after successful test markets earlier this year in Ohio and Dallas/Fort Worth.

It’s national popcorn day! The United States Popcorn Board says Americans consume 14 billion quarts of popped popcorn every year. That works out to be about 43 quarts per person. The five most popular flavors are classic butter and salt, cheese, caramel, garlic salt and chocolate. The most popular place to have popcorn is at the movies.
