Breakfast Buzz: Women Bringing Home the Bacon


More and more women are bringing home the bacon for their families. That tops this morning’s breakfast buzz.

According to an NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll, 49 percent of women in the workforce say they work because they are the primary breadwinner. That includes 42 percent of working women with children, but the way women are treated in the workplace hasn’t changed much in almost two decades. The poll found 61 percent of women say their male co-workers fail to treat them as equals.
