Business Leaders Come Together in Bentonville for Luncheon

Business leaders from around the region were invited to attend a Spotlight Bentonville luncheon Thursday.

Downtown Bentonville Incorporated hosted the event, and newly elected Mayor Stephanie Orman previewed her State of the City address.

Also during the event, it was announced “The Wall That Heals,” a replica of the Vietnam Veterans War Memorial, in Washington, D.C., will be traveling to Northwest Arkansas over Memorial Day weekend.

“People love Bentonville. The people in Bentonville love to come together, and our Farmers Markets and our First Fridays have been really, truly been amazing,” said Bentonville Mayor Stephanie Orman. “Our lighting on the Square, they showed some pictures of that today. Really everything that DBIC has been involved with has been exciting, and people just love it. They love being in Downtown Bentonville. They love the community feel that you get in Bentonville.”

Orman is set to give her full State of the City address next Tuesday at 6 p.m.  during the City Council meeting in Bentonville.
