BENTONVILLE — Local businesses and entrepreneurs are taking part in an event to promote new products and grow small businesses and startup companies in our area.
The Business to Business breakfast is hosted by the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce. Presenters have one minute to pitch their idea or product to the entire room, hoping to gauge interest and the chamber says it’s a fun but beneficial opportunity for businesses.
“It just gets their name out there really quickly and gets them to meet a lot of different people very quickly,” said Brooklynn Wiley, special events director for Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce. “We like to say it’s like a speed dating type set up; you go to 3 different tables and potentially talk to 18 different people.”
Participants can be anyone from a young entrepreneur selling a new product to even an established local company promoting its latest item.
