Businesses Pay Marijuana Growing Fees

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — All five businesses picked to be marijuana cultivation centers have paid the bonds and legal fees required to obtain a growing permit.

Those businesses are cleared to prepare to grow the green, including osage creek cultivation in carroll county.

The five businesses were selected by the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission.

Because the those businesses met their requirements, River Valley Relief Cultivation of Fort Smith — the first runner up for a permit — is officially out.

Experts say the product should be ready for sale by early next year.
