LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Razorbacks’ biggest fan, Canaan Sandy, suffered another stroke Wednesday, his second in less than a week.
KARK’s Aaron Nolan spoke with his mother Ginger this morning who said doctors at the Arkansas Heart Hospital have found the cause of the issue, a hole in his heart that is throwing blood clots.
She said an MRI showed the stroke happened in the vision area of the brain but his vision isn’t affected, but he has lost some speech.
They are glad to have answers. Canaan will have surgery with a catheter procedure to close the hole Thursday morning.
Until then here’s a Woo Pig Sooie for Canaan!
