“Caroling on the Creek” is Back for Another Year!

News

SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KFTA) — Springdale Public Schools is giving northwest Arkansas families the chance to get in the holiday spirit.

Over 20 student choirs from different grade levels will participate in Caroling on the Creek. Springdale choir directors created the event as a way to give students an opportunity to showcase their skills and they have been working since July to put everything together.

Clint Pianalto, choir director at Hellstern Middle School said the event also benefits the city.

“The community coming together is really why we started this,” Pianalto said. “We can all come to downtown Springdale as one town. East and west side coming together and enjoying carol music.”

Caroling on the Creek starts at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14 at Shiloh Square in Springdale. There will be food, lights and a visit from Santa and it is free and open to the public.
