If you’re looking to get rid of your real Christmas tree, we know some tigers who would love to help you out.

For the tigers at Turpentine Creek, Christmas is a special time of year. The wildlife refuge takes in Christmas trees that would normally get thrown away and gives them to the cats. The trees act like big scratching posts for the tigers. Anyone who is interested can donate their tree. All you do is make sure it’s cleaned off and bring it to the front desk at Turpentine Creek.

During Winter months, Turpentine Creek is open from 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
