CENTERTON, Ark. (KFTA) — SWAT Team members were called in to help arrest a Centerton man accused of repeatedly raping a child over the course of three years.
Matthew Kyle Bain, 32, is being held at the Benton County Detention Center on suspicion of rape with a bond set at $250,000, according to the Detention Center’s website.
Bain was interviewed Wednesday by police at the Detention Center.
“When asked about the sexual allegations, his chin quivered and he was sweating profusely,” a probable cause arrest affidavit states.

The child tried to refuse Bain’s advances, but Bain forced himself onto the child, according to the affidavit.
Police traveled to Bain’s home, but he refused to come out, the affidavit states.
SWAT Team members arrived at Bain’s house and forced their way in through the door leading from the garage, the affidavit states.
Bain has an arrest history that includes residential burglary, third-degree battery and first-degree criminal mischief, the affidavit states.
