City Looks to Become More Immigrant Friendly

Welcome Fayetteville Plan_69600428

The city of Fayetteville is looking to making changes that will focus on making the city more welcoming to immigrants.

Our media partners at the Fayetteville Flyer say immigrants accounted for 42 percent of our regions growth between 2009 and 2014. City officials have developed an online survey and have set up a series of workshops throughout September and October in order to gather feedback. Then, a final plan will be created.

The first workshop will happen on Saturday, September 7 at the Fayetteville Farmers Market. Learn more by clicking here.
