Cold Weather Possibly Bad for the Heart

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — Cold weather may not be good for the heart.

A new study looked at weather conditions corresponding to more than 270,000 heart attacks in Sweden.

Researchers found heart attacks were more likely on cold, windy and cloudy days.

The highest risk came on days when the mercury dipped below freezing.
